WHY GIVE?
Every day, countless veterans battle the invisible wounds of war—PTSD, depression, and anxiety. Too many struggle in silence, and tragically, some see no way out. Traditional support systems often fall short, leaving veterans without the resources they need to heal.
I’m Glenn Towery, a decorated Vietnam combat veteran, award-winning filmmaker, and founder of the Veterans Suicide Prevention Channel and the Austin Veterans Arts Festival. I’ve dedicated my life to supporting those who have served, and now, I’m launching a groundbreaking project:
MISSION: TRANSITION CONDITION
This isn’t just a television series—it’s a lifeline.
MISSION: TRANSITION CONDITION is the first dramatic TV series in American history centered around a fictional organization created by veterans, for veterans. This series will:
✔ Share real, inspiring stories of veterans overcoming adversity.
✔ Provide practical tools and strategies for mental health and well-being.
✔ Highlight resources and organizations dedicated to veteran support.
✔ Foster a nationwide community of hope, resilience, and solidarity.
ABOUT ME
I served aboard the USS Rupertus during the Vietnam War, experiencing firsthand the lifelong challenges that come with military service. The arts—acting, filmmaking, and painting—became my refuge and path to healing. In 2014, I founded the Veterans Suicide Prevention Channel to provide ongoing support to veterans and their families. Now, with MISSION: TRANSITION CONDITION, I’m bringing that mission to a larger platform to reach even more veterans in need.
