Meet the visionary team behind "MISSION: TRANSITION CONDITION," led by award winning filmmaker Glenn Towery.

  • Mr. Glenn Towery

    Glenn Towery is a Vietnam combat veteran, filmmaker, writer, and the founder of the Veterans Suicide Prevention Channel (VSPChannel) and the Austin Veteran Arts Festival (AVAFEST). A passionate advocate for veterans with PTSD, Towery created MISSION: TRANSITION CONDITION, a groundbreaking television series focused on veterans’ experiences. His award-winning films include The Frequency, Long Live the Spirit, and Remember the Sacrifices of Your Ancestors, Don’t Use the “N” Word.

    A graduate of Columbia College Hollywood, Towery has also been recognized for his screenwriting at festivals like Cannes and the Hollywood Film Festival. In addition to his work in film and television, he is a visual artist and author of the BRITE BRATS children’s book series. With a background in theater, Towery has performed alongside stars such as Ted Lange and Carl Anderson, and now focuses on using his talents to uplift and support the veteran community.

  • Nate Boyer

    Nate Boyer is an Army Green Beret veteran, former NFL player, and filmmaker. After serving three combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, he walked on to the University of Texas football team despite having no prior experience, eventually becoming a three-year starter and the oldest rookie in NFL history at 34 with the Seattle Seahawks. Boyer has since appeared in films and TV shows like 12 Strong, Den of Thieves, Mayans MC, and The Terminal List. He co-created and hosted the NFL Films series Indivisible and made his directorial debut with MVP (2022). Recently, he hosted Survive the Raft on Discovery Channel and is now working on a WWII documentary marking the 80th anniversary of D-Day.

  • Marcus Hobbs

    Mr. Hobbs, a native of Atlanta, Georgia, moved to Austin, Texas, in 1995. He earned a Bachelor of Education from the University of Georgia in 1987 while serving in the Georgia Army National Guard through the Army ROTC. After teaching in the Camden County School System, he completed an MBA at Georgia State University in 1992 and became a CPA in 1995. His career in real estate and construction accounting includes roles at Arthur Andersen & Co., FiServe, The Yarmouth Group, and HMG & Associates, Inc. A dedicated community advocate, Mr. Hobbs has supported organizations like the Council for At-Risk Youth, the Boy Scouts of America, and the Texas Military Forces Museum. He joined AVA Fest in 2022 as Director of Hobbies and Scale Modeling and, in 2024, became Treasurer for the Veterans Suicide Prevention Channel, overseeing financial operations and compliance.

  • Dr. KERRY-ANN ZAMORE BYRD

    Dr. Kerry-Ann Zamore is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Counselor, University Professor, and the Owner and Director of KZamore Entertainment. She holds degrees from the University of Maryland, the University of Phoenix, and a Ph.D. from the University of Southern California. An award-winning playwright, screenwriter, and director, Dr. Zamore has created numerous stage plays and films addressing social issues. She utilizes theatrical presentations to facilitate training on topics such as victim advocacy, family violence, and conflict resolution. Her accolades include the Joe Biden Presidential Award, Social Worker of the Year, and recognition as a Distinguished Scholar.

  • ROBERT L. MILLER

    Robert L. Miller is the CEO and Executive Producer of du Jour Films and Entertainment, bringing nearly four decades of experience in business and entertainment. With a background in contract law, project management, and accounting, he focuses on developing and producing high-quality television, film, and entertainment events that both educate and entertain diverse global audiences. In 2014, Miller founded Black American History to highlight the contributions and achievements of Black Americans and other minorities in shaping the nation. A proud U.S. Army veteran, he values teamwork, networking, and partnerships. One of his guiding principles is: “It is better to benefit 1% of the efforts of 100 individuals than to benefit 100% of your own efforts.”

  • Elisabeth Joy (Collura-Rosenberg)

    Elisabeth Joy (Collura-Rosenberg)is a U.S. Army veteran, actress, filmmaker, integrative therapist, and adjunct professor. A former Chinook pilot with the 101st Airborne Division, she served 11 years, including combat tours in Afghanistan and Iraq, later commanding the Air Ambulance Company (Alamo Dustoff).

    She holds a master’s in education from the University of Texas at Austin and multiple certifications in fitness, film production, and emergency response. She teaches movement, fencing, and first aid at Austin Community College. As an actress, she is known for His Stretch of Texas Ground, RATS!, and Dovey’s Promise, using performance and dance to aid in healing from war’s effects.

    Passionate about veteran support, Elisabeth produces for the Veterans Suicide Prevention Channel and Austin Veteran Arts Festival and has served as a Commissioner on Veterans Affairs for Austin. She also volunteers with veteran-focused nonprofits. She lives in Austin, Texas, with her son, Sterling.
